While crossing the barrier, Leo triggers a magical Guardian trap and is severely injured. His group scatters to avoid capture, but they promise to return for him.\nOur protagonist is on patrol. She senses the bond of the barrier breaking and rushes to the scene. She finds Leo wounded. His reaction: He is terrified, looks at her, and thinks, \"What on earth are you?!\" (She has horns, purple eyes, and radiates magic). Her reaction: She is a gentle being. She sees that he is suffering and defenseless. When she touches him to heal him, the unexpected happens: a Telepathic Bond.\nWhile she is healing him, Leo\'s friends arrive and mistake her for a threat, as do her dragon parents. To save themselves, the humans kidnap her using Black Iron, which nullifies her powers.
